Who we are
KreweDeBauchery is a 5-piece funk-rock band based in New Orleans, blending the city’s rich musical heritage with a fresh, high-energy sound designed to move bodies and lift spirits. Formed in 2024, the group is led by longtime collaborators Noah Boshra (saxophone) and Max Sanders (guitar), who have spent over a decade performing together across the city's most iconic stages. Their shared vision and deep musical chemistry serve as the heartbeat of the band.
Rounding out the Krewe are Shout Young (keys), Gabe France (bass), and Zehrin Sims (drums) or Jake Gartenstein (drums) — a powerhouse rhythm section and musical force in their own right. Together, this diverse lineup brings a dynamic, genre-bending approach to funk, rock, soul, and blues, creating a live experience that’s as spontaneous as it is electrifying.
Drawing inspiration from legendary acts like The Meters, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, and Lettuce, KreweDeBauchery delivers a setlist that seamlessly weaves together original compositions and reimagined covers, keeping crowds moving all night long. Their music is rooted in New Orleans’s unmistakable groove, but their sound and energy reach far beyond city limits.
Though proudly based in the Crescent City, KreweDeBauchery travels to bring their signature sound to stages across the country. Whether they’re lighting up a Frenchmen Street club or headlining festivals, they bring the same raw energy, tight musicianship, and infectious spirit to every show.
From horn-driven breakdowns to extended jams and crowd-hyping solos, KreweDeBauchery isn’t just a band — it’s a party. And everyone’s invited.
